It’s Walk time! Save the Date for our Walk for the Animals 75 Anniversary Homecoming!

On Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., AWLA invites you to Walk for the Animals and celebrate our 75th anniversary of improving the lives of animals in our community. This event will be a Homecoming jubilee, so adopters and alumni come party at your alma mater! You’ll be in great company with hundreds of fellow animal lovers and their canine companions.

The event takes place at AWLA, so we can show you what we do, where we do it, and most importantly, the animals we care for and support. Bring a friend, take a tour, and meet our adorable, adoptable animals.

Expect an evening to remember with live music by Nick, Ian & The Machine, dog tricks and training demonstrations, food trucks, exhibitors, a beer garden, and more!

Since its beginning more than 20 years ago, the Walk for the Animals has raised life-saving funds to provide critical medical care, food, shelter, training, and adoption services for tens of thousands of animals. The Walk is the League’s biggest fundraiser and this year our goal is to raise $100,000 for animals in need. Will you help us? We can’t do it without you.

$20 Virtual Walker (includes online fundraising page, registration fee included as first donation)
$10 for children 7-17 years old (includes Walk registration and t-shirt, please note t-shirt sizes are limited and first-come first-served)
