Stars Align brings artists from across Chicago and the musical universe together for one-of-a-kind live collaborations.

Coming together for the next Stars Align session are singer/songwriter/composer Subhi and Madison, WI-based saxophonist Tony Barba.

Subhi is working on her debut Hindi Jazz album, featuring music that highlights her journey as an artist, the choices she’s made, and the struggles she encountered. Anchoring it all together is Subhi’s earthy and organic voice. Her musical exuberance is matched only by her vivacious personality.

Tony Barba has recorded/performed all around the world with the likes of Bon Iver, the Mountain Goats, Escort, the Violent Femmes, Josh Ritter and more. He ‘s also been a member of the globetrotting Youngblood Brass Band for over a decade.
