The last decade has seen City Hall reaching out to the citizens of London in new and interesting ways but are things actually getting better? Is City Hall communicating with us effectively? Are we given enough information to make informed decisions? Is “dotmocracy” an effective tool? Are Post-Its doing the job? Is City Hall doing a good job of reporting back on the results of these sessions? And, when City Hall disagrees with the citizens, do they dedicate enough time and resources to closing the loop on that engagement? Are they really taking this stuff seriously?
