Robert Pollard comes through with a surprise for his 100th studio album: a GBV double album with songs contributions by all members of the band.

The current lineup includes two returning alums, Doug Gillard (Death of Samantha, Cobra Verde, Nada Surf) on lead guitar and Kevin March (Dambuilders, Shudder to Think, Mind Science of the Mind), along with two longtime GBV fans: country music scion Bobby Bare Jr. (Young Criminals Starvation League) on rhythm guitar, and Mark Shue (Beech Creeps, ESP Ohio) on bass.

This is arguably the tightest lineup in the band’s history, and they routinely play 50+ songs.
