Hey Birdland Jazzistas,

We’ve been sad to say goodbye to our semi-permanent Oakland home, but the music must go on. Toliver is looking for another location to call Birdland and in the meantime is organizing Birdland Jazzista shows at other venues around the East Bay. To kick that off, we have a great blues band playing at the MLK Cafe, right on MLK just a few blocks south of the old bird nest.

We’d love for all the Jazzistas and neighbirds to come out, listen to the music and show these other venues that Birdland is a powerful thing. $10 cover for all; and the MLK Cafe serves food and drink.
