Along with groups like Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes and The Killers, Omaha's The Faint melds a variety of rock 'n' roll influences into a garage brew that makes for a fun experience. Their music has been described as "dance punk" and "new wave." The quartet of Todd Fink (vocals), Jacob Thiele (keyboards), Dapose (guitars) and Clark Baechle (drums) is hitting the road to promote the deluxe remastered re-release of their hit album, 'Danse Macabre,' which will be performed in its entirety, live for the first time. They will also be playing new songs and old favorities.

Well I'm in town but I question the wisdom in coming out to the bar where folks drink and smoke when I'm super preggers. I'll be dodgeballing in from the hotel.

Dodgeball. The end of an era indeed.

Ashes to ashes. That's where phoenixes come from.

Phoenices and phoenii too.
