36 West Colorado Blvd., #1
Pasadena, California

Time to tempt your palate with all the pleasurable flavors that Southern California has to offer. Join Pleasure Palate as we do some culinary exploring of restaurants (both high-end and holes in the walls), various food and beverage tastings, cooking classes, potlucks and so much more. From savory to sweet, from salty to sour, from spicy to tangy, from exotic to All-American, we'll taste it all, so come along and take your taste buds on the ride of their life. Tonight's event will be a fondue, crepe and wine tasting at The Crepe Vine in Pasadena!

Hidden in one of Old Pasadena’s pedestrian alleyways, this self-proclaimed Parisian-style bistro has done much to get the feel right: rustic wooden tables topped with candles, vintage beverage posters and a cozy bar beneath a stamped-tin ceiling. The menu is filled with all the right stuff, too, from starters like garlicky escargots, moules marini?re and a winning macaroni ‘n’ cheese gratin to entrées including lamb shank, steak frites and a novel coq au vin made with white wine.

True to its name, the menu also features an appealing selection of savory and sweet cr?pes (made with batter flown across the Atlantic), as well as fresh salads. The thoughtful, moderately priced wine list has a global orientation and all 50 or so entries are available by the bottle, glass or taste. In Old Pasadena, where chain restaurants are increasingly dominant, The Cr?pe Vine is a refreshing and endearing option in the local dining scene.

For our evening at The Crepe Vine, we will be treated to a special MyPC Fondue, Crepe and Wine Tasting. For only $45, including tax and tip, that needs to be Pre-Paid, we will share the following:

Dessert Crepe Mini Sampler of the following:

A wine specialist will also be on hand to educate us on the wine we will be sampling and one of the chefs will also make an appearance to give us some general history, food facts and information about fondue and crepes.

Not only will we be pleasuring our palate tonight, it'll also be an evening with a bit of culinary education and when you combine that with meeting other food lovers, this Wednesday is one not to miss, so please come and join in the fun!
