FIRE FEST is a retreat designed to engage the Christian Hip Hop Community and Culture in open honest conversation on their knowledge of the music industry, their ability to network effectively, their outlook on ministry, as well as their personal development and spiritual enrichment. This Two (2) Day event will educate our Christian Hip Hop Artist while encouraging the next generation of youth to fight the good fight of Faith.

This amazing event includes a full dinner hosted by Oval Office, and dancing with music by Tuxedo Junction an 18 piece big band. American Idol finalist and Christian music artist Chris Sligh will be performing a benefit concert at Culpeper County High School in memory of Kelsey Orndorff. Kelsey was a 17 year old senior who died in an automobile accident while on her way to a Chris Sligh concert. All proceeds will benefit two charities: Teens Opposing Poverty and Kelsey's Big Give(a local project similar to Oprah's Big Give)

Deeper Shades of Blue is a one man stage play, which explores the depths of black masculinity through music, melody, and the pivotal movements when life changes. The one man play will create space for awareness and spiritual exploration of the “isms” of our culture. The event will feature the play, real-life stories, and discussion around the issues of gender and sexuality. We will listen for how God is calling our communities to live into the deep.
