Speaker, Steve Morris, Founder, SM Marketing, is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years experience in the various aspects of marketing semiconductor and telecom products. He is currently consulting with a startup cellular equipment manufacturer to help bring their first products to market. Prior to that, he has consulted with the semiconductor design center at California Eastern Labs (CEL) tasked with the analysis and reporting of data (to internal and external customers) for the verification of performance of new IC designs. Prior to that, he has held both tactical and strategic marketing positions for CEL, the North American marketing and sales partner for NEC Microwave Semiconductors. In those capacities, he has researched and authored numerous whitepapers, briefs and market reports on subjects such as UWB, SDARS, and SiGe:C, as well as customer and competitor profiles. Mr. Morris has been a member of Toastmasters since 1992 and holds a Bachelor or Science degree in Business from the University of San Francisco.
