This week's we're showing a bunch of Vintage Jazz shorts. This will include Cab Calloway?s short
feature, Hi-De-Ho (1947) with the bandleader/vocalist at his best and a weak story line to string the musical numbers together. We?ll add the made-for-TV review Jazz Ball (1956) compiled from soundies and clips from the 30s to the 50, including Satchmo, Duke, Artie Shaw, Jimmy Dorsey, Red Nichols, Sammy Davis Jr., Peggy Lee, and many more.
