GiGi Thomas is currently the Client Advocate for HIPS (Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive) and has been assisting, supporting and empowering male, female and transgendered sex workers for the last 6 years. Gigi is an expert in issues of sex work and violence.

Dennis Sobin has been described by The Washington Post as a "long time libertarian activist." He currently heads the Prisons Foundation, which seeks to show the human face of, and reduce, the record number of people being incarcerated in America.

Penelope Saunders, PhD, has overseen projects for youth, young adults, and sex workers in both Australia and the United States. She founded Different Avenues with other advocates in 2001.
