Short Description:

On Sunday August 26th, 2007 Honey Soundsystem presents Todd Terje from Olso, Norway. An evening of disco edits, spacey sounds, and summer flutter compete with drag show, honey dj's Derek B and Robot Hustle, and the dinosaur that is the old Raw Hide in Soma (280 7th sf). Early birds get in for $5 before 10pm and $10 after. Drag Starts at 8pm and Terje Closes out the night til 2am.

Long Description:

On Sunday August 26th , 2007 San Francisco will welcome its first ever visit from Olso, Norways rising star Todd Terje. Making SF one of two west coast appearances while in the states. Todd Terje is responsible for some of the best music being produced at moment. From his original 12"s on Full Pupp records (run by Prins Thomas), remixes of artists such as Lindstrom, Fox n Wolk, Felix Laband, to his re-edits works under the name of Tangoterje on labels such as Supreme records or G.A.M.M., you cant go wrong with this man.

Honey Soundsystem is pleased to present one of our favorite musicians under a roof that perfectly matches our style, the old Rawhide in SOMA. The evening will begin early with a full stage drag show hosted by the House of Salad. Then honey dj's Derek B (Trannyshack) and Robot Hustle (Donuts, CBS) will support before a two hour set by our out of town guest. If you haven't heard the sound system at Club Hide then you are in for a treat!
Honey Soundsystem is made up of a handpicked group of San Francisco disc jockeys, musicians, designers, and thinkers. We bond on our shared love for timeless sound, iconic imagery, the complete look, the all night party, indulgent behavior, and most of all, attractive men.

Participants have included DJs Kenvulsion, Peeplay, Jason Kendig, Derek B, Robot Hustle, and Safety Scissors; Visual artists Leo Herrera, Allan Herrera, Greg Kaplowitz, III3, and Jody Jock; We have also collaborated with Qnection, Comfort and Joy, and Stiffy Lube.

Closing our summer series of events which saw the likes of guest Gavin Hardkiss, a 4th of july poolside retreat, the release of our 2007 Summer of Acid Mixes and more, we couldn't think of a better person to compliment the sounds of the end of summer then Todd Terje.
