The Lab 101 Gallery begins its 2007 series of installation based exhibitions with an elaborate show by the Long Beach-based artist Blaine Fontana. Blaine plans to transform the gallery into another dimension and place, blending together sculpture, murals and mixed media projects. This campy mixture of hunting imagery with neo graphics, urbanism, and surrealist visions are his 'metaphors and symbolisms for our human nature and soul being hunted daily.' Its a short exhibition with a run of only two and a half weeks so make sure you drop in and pick up a signed book and limited edition print.
