Maybe you?ve already heard the sound from the North West of China: Buyi from NingXia, Zhang Qianqian from Qinghai, The Tongue from Xinjiang. As well as Gansu, this is the place where the legend band Wild Child started their journey. When talking about Lanzhou, people will also tell you that this is the basis of noise, the place where you find chaos and yellow river running through. Now another mysterious Lanzhou band will come to Shanghai. We called them mysterious because of their low key. By using violin, tambourine, Xun and Muyu(both ancient Chinese instrument), they create the most original sound from the minority. The sound is sensitive, yet it is so attractive.
