Cactus TEFL Open Evenings are held three times a year in conjunction with the Education Guardian . The Open Evenings take place at their newsrooms in Farringdon, London, and are now regular events in the UK TEFL calendar.

Cactus TEFL hosts a programme of informative talks and presentations about all aspects of TEFL.

We have expert speakers, including representatives from Cambridge ESOL and Trinity College London, giving useful overviews of the various courses, from pre-TEFL prep courses, weekend courses, online courses through to full four-week industry standard intensive and part time courses.

We include a demo lesson to give you an idea of how it feels to be a student and a teacher, and news and updates about new developments within Cactus and the TEFL world.

We focus on TEFL jobs, with information about employment in different parts of the world, how to find jobs and what is expected of you as a TEFL teacher.

There is news about the Cactus TEFL/Spanish language Suzanne Furstner Scholarship

There are prizes to be won, including places on TEFL courses and on the Cactus English Language Awareness Course .

There is time for questions, and at the end of the evening you will have the chance to mingle with TEFL experts and like-minded would-be TEFLers and to ask more questions, with wine, nibbles and soft drinks provided.
