Summer Shakespeare Camps - Peninsula/Silicon Valley April 18, 2008

Summer Shakespeare Camps will be held at several locations throughout the Peninsula and Silicon Valley: Burlingame, Cupertino, Los Altos, Pacifica, Palo Alto, San Jose, San Mateo and Santa Clara.

Campers will be introduced to three key facets of drama and theater:
Discovering Shakespeare, Voice and Movement and Production and Design. They will perform for family and friends on the final day of camp.

The camps are appropriate for youth who are new to drama as well as more experienced young actors. Teaching artists are well-trained adults, many with college degrees in the theater arts and acting experience.

The Peninsula/Silicon Valley camp schedule is as follows:

Burlingame: June 2-13 (ages 12-18) and August 4-15 (ages 7-13) at Burlingame Parks and Recreation Department

Cupertino: July 21-August 1 and August 4-15 (ages 7-13) at Union Church of Cupertino

Los Altos: August 4-15 (ages 7-13) at Christ Episcopal Church

Pacifica: July 21-August 1 (ages 7-13) at Pacifica Performances at the Sanchez Art Center

Palo Alto: July 7-18 (ages 7-13) at Jordan Middle School

San Jose: June 16-27 (ages 7-13) at Trinity Cathedral

San Mateo: June 16-27 (ages 7-13) and July 7-18 (ages 12-18) at Odyssey School

Santa Clara: August 4-15 (ages 12-18) at Santa Clara University

$420 per session; $135 aftercare per session.
