Second Annual Fashion Extravaganza October 25, 2008

Join City Lights for a stylish afternoon of high fashion at Bella Mia, Saturday, October 25, starting at 3:00pm. The event features complimentary appetizers and wine, a silent auction, and a fashion show featuring local designers Rubina Anjum of Revelations (specializing in couture evening and bridal), Martin Grizelle (specializing in Asian and African textiles designs), and more. City Lights is also proud to present a pre-show event featuring comedian Michael Riley. All proceeds from the afternoon will benefit City Lights Theater Company of San Jose. The event is sponsored in part by Phillip J. Griego and Associates.

CITY LIGHTS THEATER COMPANY is a non-profit organization that produces a season of 6 plays per year in the Company's intimate 108-seat venue, and is committed to presenting exhilarating, thought-provoking plays that speak strongly to our audiences. The company actively develops and produces new plays through our New Play Readers Series, encourages the growth of smaller "nomad" theatre companies through our Spotlight Series, partners with San Jose Jazz to promote local musicians through the Sunday Jazz Showcase series, and offers a Youth and Education Program.

City Lights is widely regarded as a nurturing space in which many up-and-coming actors, directors, designers and technicians are given an opportunity to develop their theatre skills alongside seasoned professionals.
