Red Elvises July 28, 2006

The Red Elvises are coming to town. The Red Elvises are an odd ball rockabilly/surf band from Siberia who dress up in crazy suits, play extremely large guitars, and jam jam jam like good defectors should. Check out their website which features Russian socialist style graphics and goofy photos of the band. I first saw them at the Fairfax County Fair the same year They Might Be Giants played, or was it Cracker? Man, they put on a great fair.

9 p.m. July 28 at the Crystal Bay Club Casino in Crystal Bay. Cost: $10 in advance, $12 day of show.
