Come see the film "Race to Nowhere" and stay for the optional discussion afterward. This event is being held at the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, 728 West Fremont Ave. Sunnyvale, CA 94087 (corner of Hollenbeck) on Tuesday Jan. 25 at 7 pm in the chapel.

If you have school-age childen, THIS IS A MUST-SEE EVENT. "Race to Nowhere" examines the high-stakes, high-pressure culture in schools and in our children's lives, featuring heartbreaking stories of young people pushed to the brink (even suicide), burned-out and worried educators, and parents doing their best for their kids. "Race to Nowhere" reveals the silent epidemics in our schools: commonplace cheating, disengaged students, stress-related illnesses, rampant depression, and, finally, young people unprepared for and uninspired by college and the workplace.

The film is hosted by Sunnyvale Presbyterian. It is open to the general public. To learn more about the film go to http://www.racetonowhere.com/. To attend the event, register for your free ticket(s) at http://www.racetonowhere.com/postcard/january-25th-sunnyvale-ca
