Othello 11 is a new project by the French performer and stage director Astrid Bas. Shakespeare's classic is being revisited with 8 actors, in 11 days. The adaptation will mix French and English languages. Cast includes Bay Area actor L. Peter Callender, Tony Award nominated Manoel Felciano, Astrid Bas, and Emilie Gruat, former member of Ariane Mnouchkine's Theater company in Paris. A production of Z Space, in collaboration with the Cultural Services of the French Consulate, the French American International School in San Francisco, the Lycee La Perouse, and the Institut Francais in Paris.
