New Voice of Business Forum Series

Business Leadership: Practical Solutions to Climate Change

New Voice of Business is pleased to present an important forum to learn about and discuss AB 32 (California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006), the State's landmark global warming legislation.

AB32 will reduce California's CO2 emissions by 174 million tons by 2020, and serves as a model for the nation that is being closely watched by business, government, and citizens around the nation. While passing the legislation was a challenge, effective implementation could be even more difficult.

Our speakers will share the most current science on global warming, the implementation plan for AB 32 and how it will impact business and the economy. We'll discuss ways that future looking business people can engage in supporting the full implementation of AB32 and provide practical, hands on information that every business and California citizen will need to reduce our CO2 emissions, improve our efficient use of energy, lower our costs and help reduce the impact of global warming.
