mdi ensemble (Milan), Hysterica Dance Company November 9, 2006

In recent years the mdi ensemble Milano has emerged as one of Italy`s top contemporary music groups. Founded by some of the most talented young musicians in Milan in 2002, the ensemble has performed to critical acclaim at prestigious festivals and music halls throughout Europe. Mdi will present a program featuring contemporary Italian composers Donatoni, Sobiati, Gorli, Casale, and Romitelli, and will be accompanied by Los Angeles-based Hysterica Dance Company, in conjunction with the special exhibition Breaking the Mode: Contemporary Fashion from the Permanent Collection. This program is cosponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles.
