Marjorie Cohn will present her new book, Cowboy Republic: Six Ways the Bush Gang Has Defied the Law.

Marjorie Cohn lectures throughout the world and provides legal and political commentary on human rights and U.S. foreign policy for CBS News, Court TV, BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR, Air America, and Pacifica Radio.

She is president of the National Lawyers Guild and a professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she teaches criminal law and procedure, evidence, and international human rights law.

In her new book, COWBOY REPUBLIC: Six Ways the Bush Gang Has Defied the Law, Cohn describes the six most important ways the Bush Administration has broken, defied, and weakened the rule of law. Articles of impeachment (HR 333) were introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives against Vice President Dick Cheney for the commission of high crimes and misdemeanors. Has President George W. Bush himself also broken the law? You bet.
