Main Street is a diverse collection of new video art and animation. The exhibition will be collected and published as a DVD compilation for sale, with deluxe packaging by designer Brian Roettinger.

The videos range from the psychedelically patterned color abstractions of Andrew Jeffrey Wright and Kris Moyes, to the documentary-style mountain biking travelogue of Andrew Sutherland. Miranda July's meditation on tribal drumming, and Peter Sutherland's re-enactment of a dream where teenagers bring havoc to NYC, their minds controlled by a diabolical stone. Jacob Ciocci of Paper Rad defaces youtube videos of bedroom freak dancers with his neon animations, while Melanie Bonajo records a deadpan conversation between two women with household items tied to their every limb. Lori D.'s cartoons focus on leering men, while Lucky Dragons focus on flower gardens.

Main Street features a stellar ensemble of contemporary artists. At a glance: Paper Rad has created music videos for artists like M.I.A., while Kris Moyes has directed videos for Beck, Sia, and Hercules and Love Affair. Miranda July has won prizes at Cannes and Sundance for her feature film Me, You and Everyone We Know. Peter Sutherland has several photographic monographs with publishers such as Powerhouse, Nieves and PAM. Lori D's animations have been infused in the work of director Spike Jonze, and featured on a Bonnie 'Prince' Billy record cover. Lucky Dragons were included in the 2008 Whitney Biennial and the Tokion Creativity Now Conference. Andrew Jeffrey Wright's t-shirt designs won Best Animation Award at The NY Underground Film Festival. Melanie Bonajo's latest monograph is called, 'i have a room with everything', through Capricious Publishing. Grammy-nominated designer, Brian Roettinger has created album covers for bands No Age, Liars, and Mika Miko.

Curator David Jacob Kramer is co-founder of the bookstore FAMILY, and Hope Gallery.
