Having seen the Lonely Astronauts twice already, this tour, I must give a severe recommendation to go see them. What will you see at their show? Well, obviously, there is the prolific and extrodinary Joseph Arthur, a man well versed in satisfying any audience with a variety of music styles. He rocks, struts, and pulls at your heartstrings without ever being self-important or a downer. Then, there are the Lonely Astronauts: Jen Turner will blow your mind, easily being one of the best guitarists I've ever had the pleasure to watch play. Sibyl Buck comes at you with a nice hearty bass line, delivered with myriad sexy-ness - must be seen to be truly appreciated. Kraig Jarret Johnson jumps from guitar to keyboard and back again with ease, even adding vocals in backing form as well as dueting with Joseph on the achingly beautiful "I Will Carry." G-Wiz gets extra props for delivering percussion with a joyous vengence - he just leaves you smilin'.

The opening band, Stars Of Track And Field, will surprise you if you haven't heard them yet and will get you nice and warmed up for the evening's main course. Be prepared to rock mightily and be sure to pick up a copy of the Astronaut's show immediately afterwards - a very nice piece of memorabilia.
