About Icons and Tangles:
Icons and Tangles deliver a vibrant perspective of fame — from visionaries to celebrities. Andy’s Icons are portraits of exceptional individuals that made resounding impressions on him, reduced to the pure geometry of vividly colored discs on canvas. Carrie’s Tangles consist of outlined masses of celebrities, overlapping and intersecting, forming a frenzied labyrinth of people that maybe aren’t so exceptional after all. Together, Icons and Tangles pull you and push you through a galaxy of stars, both luminous and lackluster.
