One of the most insane characters in the rock world comes to the Apollo on his long-awaited spoken-word tour. Rollins shot to fame by jumping onto the stage (and into the band) at a Black Flag gig in 1981. Soon the self-appointed lead of what had been his favourite hardcore band earned a reputation as one of the fiercest front men in rock. Not long after that he begun making spoken word tours of the US. Charisma, forcefulness and self-deprecating humour are the hallmarks of Rollins' spoken gigs, which will give the audience a lot to laugh at, plenty to think about, and a stronger kick in the backside than any self-help guru on the planet.
