Attend the 2008 Brower Youth Awards Ceremony!

Elliott Yamin, American Idol season five finalist, is the featured performer for the 2008 Brower Youth Awards.

The Brower Youth Awards is an annual national award recognizing six young people, ages 13-22, for their outstanding activism and achievements in the fields of environmental and social justice advocacy. On Tuesday, October 21st, six young leaders from across the nation will be recognized for their outstanding efforts and achievements on behalf of the environment. This festive evening has three parts:

Special Opening Reception - 5:30 p.m.
Fabulous food and drink in the Green Room prior to the awards ceremony for Brower Youth Award recipients, sponsors, donors, and honored guests. Purchase a ticket for the opening reception or become a sponsor of the program. Your opening reception reservation also admits you to the awards ceremony with preferred seating.

Awards Ceremony - 7:30 p.m.
Elliott Yamin will be the featured performer. The awards ceremony will be held in the historic Herbst Theatre and is free and open to the public, but we ask you to reserve seats in advance. Ceremony seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Be prepared to be blown away by the achievements of our 2008 award recipients!

Dessert Reception - 9:00 p.m.
After the awards ceremony, meet the 2008 Brower Youth Award recipients and Earth Island Institute staff, project leaders, and allies over delicious desserts in the elegant Herbst Theatre lobby.
