The soul and funk of Earl Thomas has garnered him sets with Doctor John, Etta James and B.B. King. He has also shared the stage with Ike Turner, and that man had this to say about Thomas: "I'll tell you somethin' I really believe: I think that this guy is going to make it, not even if he's given half a chance; he'll make if it he only gets a bitty spot of chance and that ain't no bull..."
