Downtown Marshall Sidewalk Sales August 7, 2009

The first weekend in August brings Marshall’s Downtown Sidewalk Sales. This event is a favorite of area shoppers as well as for bargain hunters throughout the Midwest.

The Sidewalk Sales will run on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th from 10 am – 5 pm. Hours will vary depending on the store. With the limited downtown sidewalk space, many of the bargains can be found inside the stores as well.

Marshall’s downtown is a beloved part of the largest National Historic Landmark District (small-urban) in the U.S. Several blocks of Victorian buildings house fine antique shops, superb restaurants and unique specialty stores. Visitors from all over the Midwest consider Marshall a shopping destination well worth the drive.
