Two Questions We'll Be Addressing:

1. What will the world look like after neoliberalism?

2. What social and political structures and events will take us beyond neoliberalism?

Workshop Goals

We may develop a manifesto, position paper, or Magna Carta expressing our vision--or the beginning of a vision--for a post-neoliberal world. We may use this day to begin a discursive space to coordinate a response to neoliberalism. We may develop a movement or a pressure/lobby group. April 22, 2006 could be more than just a one-day workshop networking people together: it could be the beginning of what we need to do to fix our local, provincial, national and global economic system.

Workshop Agenda:

We'll address the first question (above) in the morning and the second one in the afternoon. Each session will include several people giving 10-15 minute presentations about the question, followed by small group focussed discussion, concluding with large group debriefing of group discussions. Notes from the small group discussions will be compiled after the workshop and distributed to participants.
