BUS from downtown Vancouver Express Bus #257 to Horseshoe Bay departs from West Georgia Street at Seymour at 9.00 a.m. (not in front of The Bay). Bus takes approx. 45 minutes to Horseshoe Bay. Option to take #250 Horseshoe Bay Bus earlier.

FERRY for Bowen Island departs Horeshoe Bay in West Vancouver at 10:05 and 11:05 a.m. We plan to get the 10:05 am ferry. Ferry Cost: $10.60 return, or FREE weekdays for seniors 65+ years. Present your Gold Card. Ticket booth for walk-on passengers closes 10 minutes before sailing.
ARRIVE BOWEN ISLAND - After disembarking from the ferry on the Bowen Island side, please meet in a group outside the Arrivals. Before we begin to explore, let's play a short game called CASH FOR LUNCH. Beryl will have a bag of numbers. Only past Members of Mature Women's Network can play. Each Member takes a number for a Lucky Draw. 15 numbers will be called and 15 lucky Members will each receive $15 cash towards Lunch today. Your choice of restaurant on Bowen Island.

Then let's move on and explore the lovely surroundings on Beautiful Bowen Island! There are numerous small shops and restaurants on the main street within easy walking distance of the ferry wharf, including a museum, and a beach next to the Lagoon. (There are other adventures to be found in the area, if you are a keen hiker).

RETURN to the Mainland in the afternoon. BCFerries depart at 3.10 p.m. and 5.15 p.m.
