Eden Project
Bodelva, England PL24 2SG

BambooJuice is a one day one track web conference being held at Cornwall's stunning Eden Project brought to you by the fine folk at Richard Quick Design.

It's an affordable, relevant, balanced conference aimed at web designers and developers that work for small agencies, are freelancers or students, or maybe just hobbyists that want to learn more. It's for those that enjoy getting their hands dirty day to day building websites for clients and maybe don't work for a big company like Google or Yahoo with seemingly unlimited budgets.

The focus is on practicality, stuff you can get your teeth into and start applying in you work straight away without massively changing the way you work or waiting for that elusive client with the budget that lets you do everything you wish you could do.

The day's talks will look into aspects of building websites that aren't often covered at other conferences. Things like copy-writing, education and making sure the stuff we build and the data we put out there now will still be around and useful in the future.

These topics will be brought to you by our fantastic line up of speakers:

* Paul Boag
* Jeremy Keith
* Dom Hodgson
* Gareth Rushgrove
* Relly Annett-Baker
* Richard Quick

There will also a little bit of traditional conference big-idea-theoretical-stuff thrown in there too to make you feel warm and fuzzy.

There will also be a chance for some attendees to give smaller 10-15min talks that we are calling 'Picnics' - inspired by the Microformats Picnic from dConstruct a few years ago. This will be a chance to talk about what gets you excited, share your ideas and how off the cool stuff you have been working on.

If you have never been to Eden then this is the perfect excuse, we will make sure there is plenty of time to enjoy the Eden Project itself throughout the event.
