Affiliated with City of Toronto's Festival of Architecture & Design (fAd) and Doors Open, the Association for Access to the Professions of Planning and Architecture (AAPPA) is proudly to present an exhibition of work by internationally educated architects, planners, designers, and artists. It showcases creative design/art works of these foreign trained professionals who are from very diverse educational and professional backgrounds. People were trained or practiced in different countries, like Britain, the US, China, Romania, Lebanon, Brazil, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Kenya, India, just to name a few. They exhibited their work in the fields of architecture, urban planning, urban design, graphic design, as well as fine arts, like photography and painting, some of which also won design competition awards.
To have a glimpse of the diversity and creativity of these internationally trained professionals, you are more than welcome to join us at the exhibition reception on May 26, Friday, at 6pm. The exhibition also opens between 10am to 6pm during the Doors Open weekend on May 27 and 28.
