African Music Night July 10, 2010

The Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts at the Osher Marin JCC will beat into their 20th Anniversary Summer Nights Season with their second 'Summer Nights' concert; The Nigerian Brothers and The West African Highlife Band, Saturday July 10, 2010. As with every summer concert this season, the evening will begin with a pre-concert dance lesson paired with the fusion of traditional African folk music, 'palm-wine' tunes and West African village memories. The Nigerian Brothers & The West African Highlife Band is perfect for those who seek a unique mix of people and musical atmosphere. Doors open at 6:15pm, pre-show African Dance lesson with Robert Werner begins at 6:40pm, and the reviving African highlife dance classics will begin at 7:00pm.
