A Brazilian Family Carnaval Ball March 5, 2011

It's carnaval time in Brasil and we are presenting our annual Family Carnaval Ball to keep the spirit of carnaval alive in the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity to celebrate life while enjoying the sounds of Brazil from the 1940's to the present.

There will be live music with Samba Rio and guests playing marchas, frevos and sambas. A kids group will perform and there will be dance and costume prizes.
Brazilian appetizers and drinks will be available.

Takes place at the beautiful Casa de Cultura Brazilian cultural center in Berkeley right off the University Ave freeway exit.
