Fremont Arts Council: Events

The Festivities begin with the Solstice Parade at noon, followed by the Picnic at Gasworks Park at 1:30pm and the Pageant at 3:30 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2006.

The Fremont Summer Solstice Celebration is an outpouring of creativity and community, as summer arrives in Seattle. In our workshop, artists and people who love art come together to create beautiful and memorable objects and performances.

The 18th annual parade begins at noon in downtown Fremont. The parade is welcome to everyone.

At Gasworks Park, the day culminates with the rebirth of the sun through the grand spectacle of the Solstice Pageant, a community collaboration involving hundreds of artists, actors, dancers, musicians, and you!

Come join in the fun of this community created outdoor spectacle. More than ever, we are inspiring change, hope, and rebirth by casting a spell of joy that spreads from Fremont to the entire universe.
