The LAST [adult swim] Party EVER October 1, 2005

       Well, it had to happen --



      After Saturday's "...Trail of Dead..." ACL Afterparty and 1200 people (including Jacob Dylan & Franz Ferdinand), Cartoon Network's attorneys contacted us and made it pretty clear they don't like to party - congratulations to the drunk guy we threw out for being a real Johnnie Cochran and proving us wrong.  We have to "cease and desist", but we can't take back all those flyers or Austin Chronicles that are out there.  So come out this Sunday for the last ever [adult swim] party!!!



    We'll have giveaways from Hyde Park Gym, Goodie Two Shoes, Texas Coffee Traders, and more.  And don't forget there's $1 Lone Star until 9pm.  Wear your swimsuit and bring towels, pool toys, coolers, chairs, and blankets too. Bring your cigarettes, because you can still smoke legally here...



    We're at 1300 East Fourth Street (4 blocks east of IH35)



   8pm - Troy Dillinger

9pm - All-[swim] Jam (featuring musicians from previous [as] parties, and ones who wanted to play future parties)  

10pm - Cartoons on the 9x12' screen from GEAR Rental

  

    Sunday - $5 at the door / $7 under 21 - profits go to the Austin Music Network or another music charity (we are not charging to watch TV, it may or may not be on any particular channel).  Sponsored by AMN, Austin Daze, the Austin Chronicle, and MusicMakers Rentals. $2 Lone Star & free Iced Mochas & Hibiscus Mint Lemonade by Texas Coffee Traders.
