And now for something completely different . . . a one-time only acoustic collaboration with three giants of the jazz world. Bassist Stanley Clarke is most renown for his work with Chick Corea's Return To Forever but has also led bands performing straight ahead jazz, rock and R&B. Also performed with Pharoah Sanders, Gil Evans, Art Blakey, George Duke and Jeff Beck.

The visionary Bela Fleck has expanded the vocabulary of the once simple banjo. With Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, his electrified banjo is at the forefront of their experimental sound that incorporates bluegrass, jazz and rock and features world-class bass maestro Victor Wooten. He occasionally takes his instrument into the world of classical music as well with his highly regarded duets with Edgar Meyer. Has collaborated with David Grisman, Chick Corea, Branford Marsalis, and even Dave Matthews.

The third trailblazing musician in TRIO! is Jean-Luc Ponty who entered the spotlight as a featured member of Frank Zappa's Mothers Of Invention before branching off his into his enduring and prolific solo career. He also has previously worked with with Stanley Clarke and Al Di Meola in Rite of Strings, John McLaughlin and Billy Cobham in Mahavishnu Orchestra, as well as George Duke and Elton John.

Not cheap at $56.25 including ticketsheister fees.

No, not cheap. Humphrey's make a habit of booking upscale and former big acts that draw older people with money. But you can get the tix at the face value ($45 in this case) at the box office.
