Rincon Point - South Beach Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting April 16, 2007

The Mission Bay CAC and the RPSB CAC are jointly hosting a special meeting on April 16, 2007 to discuss the neighborhood impacts of the All-Star game. Captain O'Leary, as well as staff from the Mayor's Office, DPW and DPT will attend. The special events operator, Hartmann Studios, will also have representatives at the meeting.

SPECIAL MEETING: ALL-STAR GAME NEIGHBORHOOD IMPACTS

The 2007 All-Star Game will be held in San Francisco on Tuesday, July 10 at AT&T Park. There will be a number of special events on the days before and after the game and several street closures are planned.

The Rincon Point-South Beach CAC and the Mission Bay CAC are hosting a special meeting to discuss the impacts of the event on the surrounding neighborhoods. Captain Denis O’Leary of the San Francisco Police Department and representatives from the Mayor’s Office, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Parking and Traffic and Hartmann Studios, the special events company hired to produce the All Star Game events at Piers 30/32 will attend the meeting. This will be an important opportunity to provide input into the event planning process.
