Come celebrate Ma.gnolia's first birthday in an evening of food, wine, music and craft.

Food

Chef Andrew - who is currently cooking at Nopa and has worked in such illustrious kitchens as Delfina, RNM, and the Oakville Grocery - will supply us with delicious, seasonal Cal-Med finger food.

Wine

Larry will be exhuming a selection of red wine from his cellar: mostly from California, but all at least 10 years old.

Music

Where would San Francisco be without the beats and their Jazz. Eric Jekabson (http://erikjekabson.com) and his trio will supply us the sounds of The City.

Make

Assemble your own Birthday Present at our collage table, where you can put together a one of a kind real-world bookmark to take home.

Birthday's are always fun. Little far from Houston, so I will wait for the after party pictures.

Congrats!

A bit of a hike from NYC, but one never knows. But congrats on a great first year! I'm sure it'll be a ton of fun.

RiverRed

Will there be some type of virtual celebratory events as well?

seanabrady

A virtual celebration I would attend.

lhalff

I've finally posted the full event details. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. And, if you think you might be coming, a switch from the watch to the attend column will help us plan the food and wine.

epicuria

Is there a charge...?

lhalff

No charge, we're just happy to share the celebration.

karil

Sounds great. Count me in.

ventania8

The response to this has been overwhelming! Sadly, Citizen Space has a max occupancy of 100. So, please, please, please mark yourself as attending if you plan on coming by.

Enric

Wonders why this party didn't show up My Friends Events...

epicuria

Can't come down from Napa after all. Leaves room for one more. Have a great celebration.

Hoping you guys keep this party rocking past the stated end time, as I'm going to be a little preoccupied helping to counteract the counteraction at the Vernor Vinge seminar where he challenges his own idea of the Singularity.

Thank you, Ma.gnolia and Tara and Chris. Super party, fine food and cooool jazz. I'll post a few pictures soon.

lhalff
