The Writers' Trust of Canada's Writers' Workshop Program invites emerging and experienced authors to attend interactive sessions exploring new perspectives and approaches to the art of writing.

Noted Canadian authors will facilitate sessions through lecture, writing exercices and questions, helping you to develop and articulate your ideas.

THERE IS NO ADMISSION FEE BUT SPACE IS LIMITED.

On October 20, 2006, Ottawa poet, Rob McLennan, will lead an informal evaluation and discussion of the poems submitted by workshop participants (as time allows), and the nature of poetry in general, featuring plenty of examples by contemporary Canadian writers.

Part of the workshop will also include a variety of chapbooks and other ephemera distributed on the day of the session.

Interested participants are invited to submit one (1) short poem for evaluation prior to the workshop. Please forward your material no later than Friday, October 13 to Kyle Greenwood c/o the Writers' Trust (see contact info below).

This is a free workshop. There is no admission fee. However, space is limited. You must register at least one week prior to the workshop to guarantee your placement.

To REGISTER or for more information please contact Kyle Greenwood, Program Manger, at 416-504-8222 x 243 or [email protected].
