15 Barclay Street, SCPS Conference Center, 2nd Floor
New York, New York 10038

Join A/P/A Institute, in collaboration with Kundiman and the Centennial Planning Committee at the all-day Saturday conference marking 100 years of Filipino immigration to the U.S by simultaneously commemorating and reflecting on the creative literature penned by generations of Filipino and Filipino-American writers, both immigrant and native born. This will bring together a diverse array of poets, fictionists, and scholars from different parts of the country, to exchange stories, discuss ideas, and explore the varied meanings of literary texts. Just as importantly, the distinguished gathering will celebrate what has preceded us and the rich but ambivalent promise of what lies ahead.

RSVP by Tuesday, November 7

Co-sponsored by: The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program and supported by the Asian American Writers’ Workshop and Asia Society.
